Terms of Service

Bulkdozer shows the invoices and bills from the Xero organisations you connect as a spreadsheet-style grid, so you can change many of them at once instead of one at a time. It can edit an invoice’s reference, invoice number, dates, contact and status, and it can void or delete invoices in bulk, including paid invoices, by first removing the payment and any allocated credit note.

Bulkdozer does not create invoices, and does not touch line items, account codes, tax or currencies. It never acts on a schedule or in the background: it only ever changes anything at the moment you press Apply.

Bulkdozer edits your live Xero records. It is not a sandbox, a preview or a draft. When you press Apply, the changes go into your real books immediately.

Some of what it does cannot be undone, by you, by us, or by Xero:

• Deleting a payment is permanent. Bulkdozer deletes payments when you ask it to, and when voiding a paid invoice requires it. A deleted payment record cannot be restored, not by you, not by us, not by Xero. If the payment came from a bank feed, its statement line returns to your Reconcile tab and can be matched again; a payment you entered by hand has to be entered again, from your own records.
• Removing a credit note allocation is not undone for you. Bulkdozer removes credit note allocations when you ask it to, and when voiding an invoice with a credit note against it requires it. The credit note itself is kept and can be allocated again in Xero, but you have to do that yourself.
• Voiding or deleting an invoice cannot be reversed in Xero.

Bulkdozer has no undo button and keeps no backup of your records. Before applying anything at scale, satisfy yourself that the rows in front of you are the rows you mean to change. If a large or irreversible run makes you uneasy, try it on a handful of records first.

Before anything is written, Bulkdozer shows you a review screen listing the changes it is about to make. Nothing is sent to Xero until you confirm it there. That review is your opportunity to check the work, and pressing Apply is your instruction to us to carry it out.

You are responsible for the changes you choose to apply and for their consequences, including any effect on your accounts, your tax position or your reporting. You confirm that you are authorised to access and change the Xero organisations you connect, and that you have any permission you need from the business those books belong to. If your accountant or bookkeeper should be consulted before a bulk change, please consult them.

Bulkdozer is a tool, not accounting, tax or financial advice.

You agree not to:

• Use the service unlawfully, or to help anyone else do so.
• Connect an organisation you are not authorised to access or change.
• Try to break, overload, probe or work around the service, our systems, or Xero’s, including by getting round rate limits or automating the app in ways it was not built for.
• Attempt to reverse engineer the service, or resell, sublicense or pass on access to it.
• Use the service to build a competing product, or to extract data in bulk for a purpose other than managing your own books.

You must also keep to Xero’s own terms while using Bulkdozer.

Bulkdozer is an independent application. It is not provided, operated or endorsed by Xero, and “Xero” is a trademark of Xero Limited. Your use of Xero is governed by your own agreement with Xero, and nothing here changes it.

Bulkdozer depends on Xero’s API to work. If Xero changes, limits or withdraws that access, or is unavailable, parts of the service may stop working, and that is outside our control.

Bulkdozer is currently free. We take no payment and hold no card details.

We may introduce paid features in future. If we do, we will tell you by email or in the app before any charge could apply to you, and you will never be charged without agreeing to a price first. Anything you can do free today will either stay available or you will be given reasonable notice before it changes.

We want the service to be reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will suit any particular purpose of yours.

We may change, suspend or withdraw features, or the whole service, and will give reasonable notice where we sensibly can.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and nothing here affects the statutory rights of a consumer. Subject only to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The service is provided “as is” and you use it entirely at your own risk. It is free, and it is offered without any liability on our part.
• We are not liable for the changes you choose to apply to your Xero data, or for any consequence of them, including deleted payments, removed credit note allocations, and voided or deleted invoices, none of which can be undone.
• We are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with the service, whether direct or indirect, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business, data, or the cost of putting your records right.
• We are not liable for the service being unavailable, delayed, interrupted, or for anything caused by Xero or any other third party.

You are responsible for deciding whether Bulkdozer is suitable for your books, for checking the review screen before you apply anything, and for the state of your records afterwards.

You can stop at any time. Disconnect an organisation, or delete your account entirely, from the Organisations screen. Deleting your account revokes every Xero connection and erases your data from our systems, as set out in our Privacy Policy. You can also remove Bulkdozer from within Xero, under Settings then Connected apps.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, misuses the service, or puts our access to Xero at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right. We may also close the service down entirely, with reasonable notice.

The sections on responsibility, liability and governing law survive the end of this agreement.

We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, please delete your account.

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to someone else without our agreement.

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your home courts.
